The Rope adhesive is black to ensure limited visible impact, unlike our competitors who tend to sell white adhesive.
Used to secures fire rope either onto your stove or to vitreous stove pipe where additional packing is required.

| Installation Guide: | Remove the door from the stove (if possible) and lay on a flat surface. Ensure that the groove you plan to place the glue and rope into is free from grease, dirt and any residual glue from the last time. Apply the adhesive to the groove (not the rope) and press the rope seal firmly into place. Should you make a mistake simply pull out the rope seal and start again. Allow 15 minutes before re-attaching the door and shutting it, once ready fire up your appliance and the heat will let the glue set. |
